So the owners at my job called and offered me a piercing apprenticeship. I accepted!

Now just need to sign the paperwork to make it really official. The nice thing? I get paid hourly while I apprentice!

Been talking to Leo at Relic Stoneworks about getting some sweet stone plugs made. He said he has some amazing amber that would make great plugs. I’m so excited for them!

Now just need to get the money together and to him lol

When you go into a shop get off your phone. Don’t come up to the counter and then proceed to tell us to hold on. And then when you are getting you cartilage pierced get off the fucking phone. How the fuck are we supposed to pierce it if you have your phone right up against your ear? Do not cop attitude when we tell you to put your phone away. Do not get mad because we refused to pierce you since we told you 5 fucking times to put the phone away while you are sitting in the piercing chair. There are people waiting. We don’t need your money if you aren’t going to show respect and common courtesy so shut the fuck up and get out of the shop. We have been around for 30 years in this location. Us refusing to pierce you isn’t “going to make us go bankrupt”.

My first ever Topless Tuesday! I have seen people getting shit for posting topless photos when they have better bodies than me, so this is for the haters. I am happy with my body, and if you were happy with yours, you wouldn’t be putting others down. Got something to say? Then say it :)

Seriously? You are a fucking registered nurse and you don’t know what an autoclave is? And you say that isn’t the correct way to sterilize things? Remind me never to go to thee hospital you work at. And don’t get mad at me when I tell you all the other piercing shops in area use autoclaves too. It is a law that we have and use them. It’s not me lying to you or trying to get your business by telling you to never get pierced in a shop that doesn’t have an autoclave.

I am loosing faith in people.

Rant: if your friend pierced your nose with a sewing needle and “sterilized” the needle with hydrogen peroxide and a lighter, and used a regular earring they are not a piercer. So don’t come in our shop and tell us they are professionals or that they went to school for it and just graduated. There is no school and they definitely aren’t professionals. People like them give such a bad name to us in this industry. Shit like this needs to stop.

Anyone else find this ridiculous or deal with this on a daily basis?
