There is nothing like standing outside my house smoking at 5am and being approached by drunk people.
Drunk guy: “wow cool tatts man”
Me: “tha-“
Drunk chick: “How does that tattoo on your leg work?”
Me: *looks at left leg* “which tattoo?”
Drunk chick: “no the other leg, the one that looks like a metal rod. How did they do that? Looks real. What’s it mean?”
Me: “I’m an amputee. That’s my prosthetic leg…”
Drunk chick: “wow did you mod yourself then so you could wear one? That’s extreme”
Me: “uh no.” *turns around and walks back inside*
Like who in their right mind would voluntarily make themselves disabled.
This is still one of the weirdest/funniest run-ins I have had.
Now just need to get the money together and to him lol
JT just did this cool ear project at work today. One 5mm CZ gem and four 4mm CZ gems. (ignore the blue lines, since photo was taken right after it was done.
So this really happened and she didn't understand how what she was impossible.
- Girl:
I'd like to get my tongue pierced.
- Me:
how old are you?
- Girl:
17. This is my mom. (points at person next to her).
- Me:
okay I need IDs from both of you (they give me the IDs and I check the ages.)
- Me:
Umm... This says your mom was born in 1988.
- Girl:
Yea she had me young.
- Me:
she had you when she was 7?
- Girl:
No, of course not.
- Me:
then this isn't your mom. I need your parent present.
- Girl:
But this is my mom. I told you she had me young.
- Me:
You were born in 1995. Your "mom" was born in 1988 correct?
- Girl:
Yes, I don't see what the issue is.
- Me:
Well the issue is how this isn't your mom. Simple math shows that if she was your mom, she would have had to have given birth to you when she was 7. We are not going to pierce you at all. You can leave.
- Girl:
I still don't understand what the issue is and why you won't pierce me.
- Me:
Because you are lying. This is not your mom.
- Girl:
Well if you don't pierce me, then I will never come here again.
- Me:
Okay cool. Goodbye.
- Girl:
(as she is leaving) This is bullshit, I don't understand why he didn't believe it, we have the same last name.

Not the best picture, but this is my Converge inspired side piece. Only like 1-2 hours left which isn’t bad, but kinda sucks since I moved half way across the country before it could get finished.
