Watching Tattoo School on TLC. What bullshit. “you’ll never get the in-depth training and hands on experience that we can give you in a traditional tattoo apprenticeship.” Really? How can you give better in-depth training and more hands on training in 2 weeks than a year long or more apprenticeship? “don’t worry about doing your best or trying your hardest, this is just your first tattoo.” I always thought whatever tattoo you do you would want to do your best or try your hardest. Atleast I would want my tattoo artist to do their best no matter what. I also find it ridiculous that on their second day they are tattooing paying customers. No one should have to pay for a tattoo when the person tattooing is in the beginning stages of learning. Feel kinda bad that people are paying for shitty tattoos.

This show is frustrating me so bad. I worked in a tattoo shop for four years, I have seen apprentices learn and it is so much better than this two week “school”

This show is BULLSHIT! Just what the community needs, another show to make people think it’s so easy to do and that they can do it out of their house. We need less scratchers, not more!
